Beginning Art Marketing 2007/08
I have been teaching a beginning art marketing class at the Ringling College of Art and Design for the past 4 years and in the process have been developing a handbook to help augment these studies. PLEASE NOTE: Classes for the 2008 session at The Ringling College of Art and Design are closed, Class Full! Thank you.
This year I have been blessed to add the Art Guild of Summerville, SC, the Art Center Sarasota, and The Academy of Botanical Art @ The Marie Selby Botanical Garden as venues where I am teaching this course.
I have designed this as a one day seminar which requires a timespan of 5 to 6 hours. A six week class with 2 and a half hours a day, one day a week, or as in the Ringling College where the class is 10 weeks of 2 and a half hours, one day a week.
Classes include lectures and demonstrations. Students will have work projects to be completed in the multiple session/weeks classes. Single day lectures will not require a finished project.
The handbook will be available, mail order, April of 2008.
